You supply your manuscript or a page-by-page scene list, character descriptions, and a style reference. StorySketch returns a character sheet first for your approval, then finished interior pages in that locked style — laid out at KDP trim size, delivered as a print PDF plus individual PNGs.

This section describes the format and structure of what is delivered. It is not a portfolio of past client work.
Character sheet — format
One sheet showing your character in the agreed style: front view, key expressions and poses as described in your character description, outfit details, and the colour palette used across the book. This sheet is the reference every page is checked against. It is sent to you first, and pages do not start until you approve it.
Finished interior pages — format
Each finished page illustrates the scene from your manuscript or scene list, drawn against the locked character sheet. Before delivery, each page gets a consistency check: face, outfit, and palette are compared to the approved sheet.
Full Book print file — format
Pages laid out at KDP trim size and exported as a KDP-ready print PDF, plus the individual pages as PNG files, delivered by email or download link.

Character sheet + 1 finished page. Turnaround: 3 days from completed intake and character-sheet approval flow. Character sheet includes 2 revision rounds.
Not included: additional pages, composition changes after approval (see revision rules below).
Half Book

Character sheet + 12 finished pages. Turnaround: 7 days. Character sheet 2 revision rounds; finished pages 1 fix round for errors only.
Not included: pages beyond 12, composition changes as revisions (those are a new order).
Full Book
$299
Character sheet + 24 finished pages + KDP-ready print PDF, plus individual PNGs. Turnaround: 10 days. Same revision caps as Half Book.
Not included: pages beyond 24, cover design unless separately agreed in writing, composition changes as revisions.
We take on a maximum of 2 books at a time so each gets proper QA. If both slots are full, you will be told before you order, not after.

How it works
- Order and complete intake. Email your manuscript or page-by-page scene list, character descriptions, and a style reference to hello@storysketch.co.
- Character sheet first. StorySketch creates the character sheet from your descriptions. You review it — approval of the character sheet is a hard gate before any pages are made. 2 revision rounds are included on the sheet.
- Pages are made against the locked sheet. Once you approve the sheet, the finished pages are produced in batches against it.
- Consistency QA. Every page is checked for face, outfit, and palette consistency against the approved sheet.
- Layout and delivery. Pages are laid out at KDP trim size and delivered as a print PDF plus individual PNGs, by email or download link.
Turnaround — the clock
Starter: 3 days. Half Book: 7 days. Full Book: 10 days. The clock starts at completed intake. Character-sheet approval is a required step inside that process — pages cannot start before you approve the sheet, so prompt approval keeps your book on schedule.
Capacity is limited honestly: a maximum of 2 books are in production at once.
Revision rules — in writing, before you order
- Character sheet: 2 revision rounds included.
- Finished pages: 1 fix round for errors only.
- Composition changes to finished pages are not revisions — they are a new order.
These caps are what keep the price fixed and the style consistent.
What's NOT included
- Licensed or franchise characters — never. Characters must be your own.
- Imitation of a named living illustrator's style — never.
- Composition changes to finished pages as part of the included fix round.
- Pages beyond the count in your tier.
- Any promise about book sales, KDP approval outcomes, or publishing results.
Refund / cancel terms
Payment is upfront. Full refund before work starts. Once work has started, refunds are case by case: refunds under $50 are automatic on request; $50 or more are reviewed before approval. No refunds for outcomes we never promised — book sales, KDP approval, or publishing results are never promised.

So each book gets proper per-page consistency QA. It is a capacity limit, stated plainly — if slots are full, you will be told before ordering.
Do I approve the characters before pages are made?
Yes. The character sheet comes first and your approval is a hard gate — no pages are made against an unapproved sheet.
